Inside Gwinnett County Historical Courthouse
Typically courthouse ceremonies are very quick - with most couples opting to having coverage starting right at ceremony time. I of course capture the standard moments like ring exchange and first kiss - but I also try to capture guest reactions and interactions after the ceremony.

After Ceremony Portraits
After the ceremony is typically when we would do any family photos. They did not have a wedding party nor extensive family photo list - so these were quick! I made sure to utilize different locations inside and outside the courthouse so they had some variety with their formal family portraits.

Newlywed Portraits
Right after family photos, it's time for couples photos! We didn't just take some at Gwinnett County Historic Courthouse, we also found a fun alley in downtown Lawrenceville nearby we used.

Reception
The reception was at Rays at Killer Creek, a locally owned steakhouse. I arrived early to capture their beautiful details, decor and cake.

Candids
Every wedding reception is different. This reception at Ray's at Killer Creek was so unique and intimate! They did not do a first dance, grand entrance, bouquet toss, send off etc. The evening was solely focused on intimate connections with friends and family, amazing food, and they finished it off with cutting the cake!

This was a 6 hour wedding package - with a 2 hour break in between ceremony and reception start. Myself, Ally, was the only photographer present.
