The Beginning

I met Kitwanga and Doug a little south of Atlanta for their engagement session, they wanted a convenient, quick shoot that could work with their busy schedules - so I made a house call. Their subdivision had a beautiful gazebo and we were able to capture images for their wedding as well as a quick engagement video all within the hour.

The Big Day

We had the honor of photographing Kitwanga and Doug's stunning wedding at the Pristine Chapel in Atlanta, Georgia. They chose this gorgeous venue for its natural beauty and timeless elegance. Surrounded by lush greenery, clear water, and romantic gardens, the chapel provided the perfect backdrop for their special day.

As the main photographer, Ally captured the couple's love story through her lens, she focused on the beautiful bride getting ready at her home. Working alongside Ally was Julie, who served as the second photographer. She focused on the groom and groomsmen getting ready at the venue. Together, they captured the wedding from different perspectives, yet similar styles, ensuring that no moment was missed. The final gallery is cohesive and we believe it is hard to spot any difference between the photos taken by Ally and Julie - can you?

Bride Tribe

The bride and her bridesmaids were dressed in matching robes, sipping champagne and surrounded by a custom made balloon wall, that added a playful touch to their pre-wedding preparation. Kitwanga made the ballon wall herself - I was amazed! The matching robes and the balloons helped to create a cohesive and cohesive look in their getting ready photos. The bride also chose to do a mini boudoir session, where she was captured in her intimate and vulnerable moments. The boudoir photos turned out to be some of the most beautiful and personal photos from the wedding day. The bride looked stunning and confident, and the photos perfectly captured the emotion and beauty of the moment. Mini boudoir sessions are a complimentary option with any wedding package - as long as you allow enough time!

The Ceremony

As the ceremony began, the couple's closest friends and family members were seated, eagerly awaiting the arrival of the bride and groom. The large bridal party made their way down the aisle, the ladies in elegant gowns and the gentlemen in sharp tuxedos. One of the highlights of the ceremony was the unity candle lighting. As the couple lit the unity candle, they both made their vows to each other, and the flame symbolized the coming together of two lives as one. It was a truly emotional moment.

This was a June wedding in Georgia heat so we fit all family and wedding party portraits in a 30 minute window after the ceremony. We were able to capture individual portraits of the wedding party prior to the ceremony, which always helps speed along the after-ceremony portrait process!

The Reception

This wedding reception didn't end until midnight! The first dance was truly a sight to see, with ballerinas and dry ice all around the newlyweds. Kitwanga changed after the first dance into a trendy jumpsuit to dance the rest of the night away. Pristine Chapel has a wonderful reception area, check out the display table for the wedding cake!
